      <title><![CDATA[Restoration Planting at Marina Dunes Preserve]]></title>

      <description><![CDATA[Come out to the Marina Dunes to help Return of the Natives restore a critical habitat! The Marina Dunes Open Space Preserve is a beautiful restoration site overlooking the ocean.  Volunteers are needed to help plant native plants and remove invasive weeds.

RON events are a great way to learn more about where you live, meet new people, get community service hours, and help protect our clean water supply and natural habitat. This is a great family activity that is FREE.

      <description><![CDATA[Volunteers are invited to help clean up trash, remove invasive weeds, and plant native plants at Upper Carr Lake in Salinas.  Ongoing restoration efforts at Upper Carr Lake have made this a thriving, frequently enjoyed public space and an important habitat for many birds and other wildlife.

      <description><![CDATA[Since 1994 Return of the Natives (RON) has worked with community volunteers and the BLM to restore and revitalize Ft. Ord, part of the Gabilan Watershed. Volunteers are invited to come and enjoy the scenery, plant native plants, and help restore the natural beauty of Ft. Ord. 

Everyone is welcome! A great family activity that is FREE. Tools, water, great snacks, and LIVE LOCAL MUSIC provided.  ]]></description>
