Free First Tuesday Visit our aquarium, exhibit hall, and touch tanks. Take a tour or explore on your own. Join us as we explore Monterey Bay with our Hands–on family programs! Visit a working marine laboratory. Exhibit halls, aquarium, touch tanks, tours to marine mammal research overlook, Ocean Discovery Shop, and unsurpassed vistas of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Hold a sea star — marvel at the world's largest whale skeleton — see full-size elephant seal sculptures — think like a scientist!

Description:
Fort Ord Public Lands Volunteer Days. Tues & Thurs. 10am-4pm Join other experienced volunteers and staff to explore and sustain the natural systems on Fort Ord Public Lands. You'll have access to 8,000 acres of beautiful vistas and natural habitats while you help improve their health and the health of your body and soul by removing invasive weeds, collection native seeds, planting native plants, helping with plant inventories and learning to use new tools to map and restore wild lands. You'll be glad you volunteered!!!
